Canyoneering, is all about walking, scrambling, jumping, swimming, and navigating canyons.   It often requires specialized equipment like ropes, harnesses, helmets, and wetsuits. The sport can be enjoyed in both dry and wet canyons, making it a versatile and thrilling activity.  In 1999, 21 people were killed in a popular canyoneering spot in Switzerland when surprised by a flash flood.  Similarly, seven people died in Zion National Park, USA in 2015 when suddenly trapped by flash flooding. Never take nature for granted!
