Imagine scaling a sheer rock face with nothing but your skill, strength, and a few pieces of metal for protection. This was the scene when Jacopo Larcher completed the world’s hardest traditional climb, “Tribe,” in Cadarese, Italy, with an estimated difficulty of 5.15a on March 22, 2019. This incredible achievement set a new benchmark in the world of traditional rock climbing.
