Ice Climbing

Uncertainty.  Fear.  Icy cold calculation and nerves of steel. All of these factors come into play with ice climbing.  Just ask Will Gadd, one of the most accomplished ice climbers on the planet who among numerous achievements has climbed Niagara Falls.  Real adventurers, like Will are comfortable with being cold and potentially wet for a few hours to multiple days. To qualify as an EDGE sport, you must take on advanced steep climbs that require belay devices, carabiners, crampons (ad-on grips for boots), and heavily insulated gear.
