Ski/Board - Off-Piste

Category Ski/Board

Steep skiing/snowboarding is exactly that – steep!  This sport also known as Off-Piste skiing.  Skiers plunge down the side of a mountain that’s covered in a thick blanket of powdered snow, relying purely on instinct and experience to navigate these unmarked slopes. Off-trail, and backcountry locations can only be accessed via helicopter. To qualify as an XDGE sport, the difficulty level must exceed that of Double Black Diamond slopes at ski resorts.
